By visiting our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.

Products and Vintage Items

Polished Past specializes in vintage, antique, pre-owned, collectible, and unique merchandise. Because of the age and nature of these items, products may show signs of previous use, age, wear, discoloration, scratches, crazing, chips, manufacturing imperfections, or other characteristics consistent with vintage and pre-owned goods.

We make every reasonable effort to accurately photograph and describe each item. Colors may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, and individual device screens.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all photographs, descriptions, dimensions, condition information, and other product details before purchasing.

All Sales Are Final

All purchases are final.

Polished Past does not accept returns or exchanges and does not provide refunds for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, sizing concerns, color differences, vintage wear, or other characteristics disclosed or visible in the product listing.

Please contact us with any questions before completing your purchase.

If an incorrect item is shipped or an item is damaged during shipping, please contact us promptly and provide photographs of the merchandise, packaging materials, and shipping box so the issue can be reviewed.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Pricing and Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices, correct pricing errors, cancel orders involving obvious pricing or listing errors, and discontinue products at any time.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order will be processed or shipped.

Product Availability

Many of our items are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced once sold.

Placing an item in your shopping cart does not guarantee availability until checkout and payment have been successfully completed.

In the rare event that an item is sold, damaged, unavailable, or incorrectly inventoried after an order is placed, we reserve the right to cancel that portion of the order and refund the amount paid for the unavailable item.

Shipping

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Polished Past is not responsible for delivery delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, incorrect addresses, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times are controlled by the carrier.

Customers should inspect packages promptly upon delivery. Any shipping damage should be photographed immediately, including the item, interior packaging, exterior packaging, and shipping label.

Lost, Stolen, or Misdelivered Packages

Polished Past is not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier but are subsequently lost, stolen, or misplaced.

Customers should contact the appropriate shipping carrier regarding delivery disputes or missing packages.

We will provide reasonable assistance when possible with information needed for a carrier claim.

Order Cancellation

Because many items are unique and inventory may be removed from availability immediately after purchase, orders generally cannot be canceled once processing has begun.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order when necessary, including suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, inventory errors, or violations of these Terms.

Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate. However, descriptions, measurements, pricing, availability, photographs, and other information may occasionally contain errors.

We reserve the right to correct errors or update information at any time.
